PRESSURE WASHERS DAMAGE ROOFS

The use of a pressure washer or a power washer should never be used to clean a roof, these high powered machines can and will dislodge the roofing granules and scare the roof. The only way to clean a roof is a safe non-pressure / soft wash application and the ARMA (Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association( approves and recommends this method. As evidence the before picture in the lower left hand side of the roof this homeowner had a pressure washer start cleaning there roof. The after picture shows how clean the roof can get using the non-pressure / soft wash application.
